Client chats, the message log and emails
“Chats” shows everything the bot and assistant sent each client and their replies, like WhatsApp, with delivery status. The app also has a message log; the website, client emails.
“Chats” shows your business’s WhatsApp with its clients the way WhatsApp does: clients by their last message, newest on top, and for each one the whole conversation with the bot and the AI assistant — confirmations, reminders, button taps and what they wrote. One tick means sent, two mean delivered, blue means read. A message WhatsApp didn’t accept is marked “Not sent”, and an SMS is marked as one. Only this business’s messages show.

Click “Client card” to go to their card.
You don’t write to clients from here: the bot and the assistant answer from Bookly’s number. For a personal conversation, write from your business’s WhatsApp; a question the assistant handed to you is answered in “Open questions”.
Emails to clients
The “WhatsApp bot” page has an “Emails to clients” card: clients who have an email address get a copy of the messages by email, in your business’s name, with your logo and colour. For each message you see whether it’s on and can open a preview. While the option isn’t open yet, the card shows how the emails will look.
Open the screenWhile the AI assistant is off and there are no chats yet, “Messaging” opens with an invitation to turn the assistant on. Once it’s on, or once there are chats, the chats show here.
Why wasn’t a message sent?
“Not sent” means WhatsApp didn’t accept the message — a number without WhatsApp, for example; on Pro an SMS goes instead. Messages held back because the month’s quota ran out show in the app’s message log under “Not sent”.
Who can see the chats?
The business’s owner and managers.
