Booking rules: approval, time slots and how far ahead
Decide how clients book online: automatic or manual approval, choosing a staff member, minimum notice, how far ahead they can book and the slot interval.
In “Calendar & appointments” you decide how clients book with you online: whether each booking comes in confirmed or waits for your approval, whether clients pick a staff member, how close to the start they can still book, and how far ahead your calendar is open. The offered start times follow the treatment’s length on their own. The cancellation rules and the message to clients are on the same screen.

Services & teamCalendar & appointmentsTurn “Automatic approval” on or off. When it’s off, every booking waits for your approval, and the client is notified once you approve it.
Choose “Minimum notice before an appointment” and “How far ahead clients can book”. The offered times follow the treatment’s length on their own.
Click “Save rules”.
Automatic or manual approval
With automatic approval, every booking goes into the calendar confirmed and the client gets a confirmation right away. With manual approval, the booking waits until you approve it, and the client is notified when you do. Manual suits you if you want to check each booking first; automatic saves you and your clients the wait.
Choosing a staff member
With “Clients choose a staff member” on, booking includes a choice of staff member. With it off, the system assigns one by availability and workload.
When clients can book
The minimum notice sets how close to the start clients can still book online — an hour, say, so nobody books a slot that begins in ten minutes. How far ahead sets how far into the future your calendar is open. The start times offered are set on their own: every 15 minutes for a treatment shorter than an hour (9:00, 9:15, 9:30…), and every half hour for one of an hour or more.
At a branch, the booking rules come from the main business, and every change there reaches the branch too. Want different rules for a branch? Detach them on this screen, at the branch itself.
WhatsApp reminders and arrival confirmation are part of the bot settings — there’s a shortcut to them at the bottom of the screen.
The guided tour is in the app
In the “Settings and business details” chapter, the tour shows this on the screen itself, step by step.
Why can’t clients see any free times today?
Your minimum notice is probably longer than the time left until those slots — a whole day, for example. Shorten it, and check the business’s and the staff’s working hours too.
Who can change the rules?
Only the business’s owner and managers.
