Social: planning, approvals and publishing
One content calendar for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok: write posts, send them for approval and schedule them, on a computer or a phone. How to turn Social on.
Social is your business’s workspace for the networks: one calendar for every Instagram, Facebook and TikTok post — with the holidays and notes for the team — approvals before a post goes out, a design studio in your brand and AI that writes in your tone. It’s included in the plans and starts switched off until you turn it on. Direct publishing, the comments inbox and the insights come with the marketing bundle, and the AI with the Pro plan or the bundle.
Turning Social on
Open Social
SocialChoose “Turn on Social” and answer three short questions: where the business posts, how it sounds and looks, and who runs its social media.
At the end, choose “Go to Social”. You can change every answer later in the settings.
Only the business owner or a manager can turn Social on. Social media managers invited by their mobile number see only Social — not the calendar, the clients or the business’s money.
Writing and scheduling a post
Open Social
SocialClick “Create post”, pick one or more channels, write the text and add photos or a video.
Pick a date and time — the best times to post are suggested there too.
Click “Save and schedule”, or “Send for approval” when someone has to approve first. “Save as draft” saves without scheduling.
On the website, Social opens in a workspace of its own. In the side menu: “Content” — calendar, feed, grid and list — “Campaigns”, “My approvals”, “Comments inbox”, “Insights” and “What people say about us”, with your channels below. A “Getting started” card walks you to your first post.
The grid and list views, saved views and sharing a view by link are on the Pro plan.
Do I need to connect an account to start?
No. You can open a planning-only channel: plan, design and approve in Bookly, and at the set time a reminder to publish from your phone arrives. Connecting an account for direct publishing comes with the marketing bundle.
How do I turn Social off?
In the Social settings, under “General”, choose to turn Social off. The workspace closes for the whole team, but nothing is deleted — the channels, posts and brand are waiting when you turn it back on.
