Connecting PayMe or PayPal to get paid by clients

Deposits and fees your clients pay go straight to your business’s own PayMe or PayPal account — Bookly doesn’t hold the money or take a cut. Connect it once, anywhere.

Guide forComputerPhone

Clients pay deposits and fees straight into your business’s PayMe or PayPal account. Bookly only opens the payment and checks it went through — it doesn’t hold the money or take a commission. The fees are the provider’s, under your agreement with them; their price list shows when you connect the account.

PayMe (by Isracard) takes credit cards, Apple Pay and Bit, and saves a card as a guarantee and for cancellation fees. PayPal suits deposits only — with a PayPal account or a card on PayPal’s page — and doesn’t save a card. You can connect both.

Connecting PayMe

  1. Next to PayMe, click “Connect”.

  2. Open a business account with PayMe, and in their dashboard — settings, under API keys — copy your seller ID (Seller PayMe ID, starting with MPL).

  3. Paste it into “Seller ID (Seller PayMe ID)”, choose “Live account” and click “Verify and connect”.

Connecting PayPal

  1. Next to PayPal, click “Connect”.

  2. Open a PayPal Business account, and on developer.paypal.com create an app: Apps & Credentials, Live, Create App.

  3. Copy the Client ID and the Secret, paste them, and click “Verify and connect”.

Want to try without real money? Choose “Test environment” and connect the provider’s test account. The account is marked “Test environment”.

Does Bookly take a commission on payments?

No. The money goes straight from clients to your account. The only fee is PayMe’s or PayPal’s, under your agreement with them.

What happens before an account is connected?

Bookings don’t ask for payment. You can set a deposit and fees ahead of time — they take effect the moment you connect.

What happens when I disconnect an account?

New bookings can’t pay through it. You disconnect with the “Disconnect” button next to the provider — on the website or in the app.
