Signing in: WhatsApp, a code, Google and Apple

Sign in with your mobile number — with one WhatsApp message or a one-time code — or with Google, and on iPhone and the website with Apple too. No passwords.

Bookly has no passwords. Your account is your mobile number, and you can connect Google and Apple to it — then any of these ways signs you in to the same account.

Signing in with your phone number

  1. Type your mobile number.

  2. “Continue with WhatsApp”: WhatsApp opens with a ready message — send it as is from the number you typed and come back to Bookly, and sign-in completes by itself. Signing in on a computer? Scan the QR code on the screen with your phone.

  3. Or “Get a code by SMS”: type the 6-digit code you received.

  4. The first time, add your name — businesses will see it when you book.

Someone asked you to send them a code or a sign-in message? Don’t. Send only when you are signing in yourself, right now.

Google and Apple

Choose “Continue with Google”, or “Continue with Apple” on iPhone and the website. The first time, you also add your mobile number, since that’s where appointment confirmations and reminders go.

Connecting Google or Apple to an existing account

  1. Open the screen

    ManageProfile, notifications and preferencesConnected accounts
  2. Under “Connected accounts”, tap “Connect” next to Google, or “Continue with Apple” next to Apple.

The code isn’t arriving. What do I do?

Check the number is right, and ask for a new code when the countdown ends. You can also switch to “Sign in with a WhatsApp message instead”.

Is there a minimum age?

You can sign in from age 16, and under 18 with a parent’s consent. To open a business you must be 18 or over.
