Opening hours, closed days and hours for each staff member
Set the business’s opening hours, personal hours for a staff member and a lunch break, and close a day for a holiday or time off.
The business’s opening hours are the default for the whole team: clients can book only within them, following your booking rules. A staff member who works differently gets personal hours. A day can have several shifts — that’s how you make a lunch break.
The business’s opening hours
Open “Team & hours”
Services & teamTeam & hoursBusiness opening hoursOn the “Business opening hours” card, click “Edit hours”.
Switch on the days you’re open and pick the opening and closing times. “Another shift” adds a second range on the same day.
Click “Save”.
Personal hours for a staff member
On the staff member’s card, click “Personal hours”.
Set the days and times and click “Save”. “Reset to business hours” puts them back on the business’s hours.
A lunch break is two shifts on the same day — for example 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–19:00.
Hours from the shift schedule
In a business that uses the shift schedule (Pro plan), a staff member can be set to “From the shift schedule” instead of fixed hours: clients book them only within the shifts published to them, and a day without a shift is closed — including a week that hasn’t been published yet. A draft doesn’t open bookings. In the calendar, the hours outside the shift are greyed out.
The fixed hours are kept as they are: switch back to “Same as business hours” or “Personal hours” and they apply again — and so they do if the plan no longer includes the shift schedule. Appointments already booked aren’t cancelled when a shift moves.
Closed days, time off and holidays
The weekly hours don’t change because of one day. To close a day or a few hours — for time off, sick leave or a holiday — block the time in the calendar (“Block time”), for one staff member or the whole business, and clients can’t book then. A break that repeats every week goes in “Recurring breaks”.
Recurring breaksShabbat-observant business: the business hours editor has a “Shabbat-observant business” switch. Booking closes from the start of Shabbat or a holiday until it ends, and the hours you set stay as they are.
At a branch, the opening hours may come from the main business. Then edit them there, or detach them to give the branch its own.
The guided tour is in the app
In the “Team, hours and time off” chapter, the tour shows this on the screen itself, step by step.
A staff member isn’t working right now — what do I do?
In the staff member’s settings, switch off online bookings (clients won’t be offered them), or switch off “Active” (they leave the calendar). For a few days off, block the days in the calendar.
A receptionist or a cleaner on the team — how do I keep them out of the calendar?
In the staff member’s settings, switch off “Serves clients”: they get no calendar column, no one can book them, and they don’t count toward the plan’s team limit — but they stay on the shift schedule, the time clock and payroll. A receptionist who also does treatments? Leave the switch on.
Why can’t I save a week with no days?
The business needs at least one open day, and personal hours at least one working day. For someone who isn’t working at all, switch off their online bookings or “Active”.
