Reports and exports for your accountant

Export a unified-format file — the Israel Tax Authority’s standard — for any date range, for your accountant, an audit or the Authority, and check that a PDF is a genuine document.

Guide forComputerPhone

Receipts and invoices — on the website and in the app — has “Reports”: unified-format files, the Israel Tax Authority’s format. Choose a date range and get a summary on screen and a ZIP file, which you hand to your accountant, an auditor or the Tax Authority. The file isn’t sent by itself: you download or share it and hand it over.

  1. Choose “From” and “To” and click “Generate”.

  2. Check the summary and click “Download the file”. Previous exports are kept below to download again.

While documents are marked “Test document”, the file is meant for testing in the Tax Authority’s simulator.

Verifying a document

In “Verify a document”, pick (or drop in) a PDF of a receipt or invoice, and Bookly checks by its digital signature that it’s your business’s document exactly as issued. The file isn’t stored.

Notices to the authorities

In “Settings”, under “What needs doing”, you see what’s ready and what’s missing — such as the notice to the assessing officer about computerized documents and the notice of where the books are kept — and record the date they were sent.

Even when the subscription isn’t active you can sign in, read your documents and export them — the books are yours.

What is the “unified format”?

The format the Israel Tax Authority set for files from bookkeeping software. Accountants and their software read it.

Is there an export of hours and payroll too?

Yes — the timesheet and payroll export to Excel. See timesheets and payroll.
