Time clock: clocking in, out and breaks
Staff clock in and out from their phone or the website, take breaks and see their hours for the day and the week. You can require clocking in on site; managers see who’s working.
Each team member clocks in and out, starts and ends breaks, and can attach a note to a punch — “I was late because of traffic”, say. Under the clock you see today’s punches and “My week”: regular hours and overtime by the rules your business set. The clock is for employees — business owners don’t clock in.

To attach a note, click “Add a note to this punch”.
Team members have a “Shifts & attendance” card on the overview with a shortcut to the “Time clock”.
Clocking in at the business only
When the business requires clocking in on site, the phone’s location is checked at clock-in and clock-out — only at that moment — and outside the range from the business you can’t clock in. The business’s NFC tag counts as location, and on the website the browser asks to share your location. When the setting is off, location isn’t checked at all.
Managers set this on the website: open the screen, and in the “Settings and time clock station” part open “Team settings”.

Click “Save”.
Clocking in without a scheduled shift
Where the business works with the shift board, the owners set how many minutes before and after a shift starts one may clock in. A clock-in outside those times, or with no shift in the schedule, first asks “Clock in anyway?” — once confirmed it’s saved marked “No scheduled shift”, and the owners and managers get a notification. The times are set on the shift board, under the limits.
Who’s working
Managers and the front desk see who’s working right now, who’s on a break and when they clocked in — on the phone in the “Who’s working” view, and on the website on the time clock page.
I forgot to clock out. Now what?
A punch left open closes by itself after the time set in “Automatic clock-out” (12 hours unless changed) and is marked “Closed automatically”, and you and the managers get a notification about it. Managers correct the exact hours in the team’s timesheet, on the website.
It says I don’t have a staff card. Why?
The clock is for people on the business’s team. The business owner adds you in “Team & hours”.
