Automatic weekly schedule with AI
The AI proposes the week’s shifts from your opening hours, each person’s hours and time off, and last month’s bookings. It’s a draft — nothing goes out until you publish.
“Draft with AI” prepares a proposal for the week on the board: shifts based on your opening hours, each team member’s hours and time off, and the booking load over the last month — without touching shifts already in the schedule. It’s saved as a draft: change whatever you like, and nothing goes to the team until you publish. The AI draft comes with the “Team & Attendance” bundle.
Open the screen
Shift schedulingGo to the week you want, and in “Actions” click “Draft with AI”, then “Prepare draft”.
The board stays usable while the AI works. When the draft is ready a summary opens — review, adjust and publish.
Auto-assign with AI
“Auto-assign” on the bar doesn’t create shifts: it staffs the open shifts already on the board by role, availability and preferences, with no overlaps and the hours shared fairly. With the Team & Attendance bundle the AI chooses who works each shift, only among those the rules allow, and keeps each person’s week sensible. Without the bundle, or when the AI isn’t available, it goes by the rules alone. A shift it couldn’t staff stays open and shows in the summary.
The AI draft uses your business’s “AI quota”: when the short or the weekly window fills up, wait until it resets.
Will the AI change shifts I already assigned?
No. It adds shifts as a draft and doesn’t touch shifts already in the schedule.
Will the team be notified about the draft?
No. A notification goes out only when you publish.
A shift I expected wasn’t added. Why?
The draft’s summary lists what wasn’t added and why. You can add the shift by hand.
